- To empower and strengthen self-organizations and (potential) women employees of SOs
- To increase the quality in the field of educational counselling for migrant women, thereby improving migrant women?s entry to the labour market
- To sensitise women educational counsellors and employees working in existing institutions in order for consideration to be paid to the migrant women?s heterogeneity, their different potentials, requirements and needs
- To reduce the divergence between the market?s quality requirements and the labour supply by increasing the quality in the educational counselling field
- To enable educational counsellors to apply anti-racist educational counselling methods as well as to carry out anti-racist and labour market policy measures for migrant women
- To develop a curriculum for anti-racist educational counselling for SE and counselling organisations
The emphasis of the work of EMPICA is to enhance, in theory and practice, classical educational counselling concepts via the political anti-racism perspective. Activities of the module include the development of a curriculum for anti-racist educational counselling as well as its testing and evaluation within two continuing education courses for (potential) women employees (counsellors, trainers) of SOMs and for women employees from educational and counselling institutions throughout Austria.
